Postal Rates rise basically because Oil (petroleum) prices rise. The USPS should perhaps change the consumption type from petroleum (in case they use that. i do not know what they use) to other alternatives like: biodiesel, ethanol, butanol, natural gas, vegetable oil, biomass, and  even chemically stored electricity (batteries and fuel cells).

The USPS should perhaps change the consumption type from petroleum (in case they use that. i do not know what they use) to other alternatives like: biodiesel, ethanol, butanol, natural gas, vegetable oil, biomass, and  even chemically stored electricity (batteries and fuel cells).<br
