Is the Hybrid Engine going to be a real winner- Or is it hype that will BLOW over real soon !!?? There is a huge demand for them .. and qiute a bit of controversy over their true cost effectiveness .The Toyota Hybrid Camry is only $3000 more ..People are already saving $1000 a year on gas …
What about the engine takes the most time, money and difficulty to produce ?? Why is there such a great back log ??

Car salesman huh?
The hottest alternative energy this century is going to be “switch grass”. This assumes that our politicians do the right stuff.
No other energy source is more abundant than solar. Switchgrass is biomass fuel where solar energy is stored as cellulose. This cellulose is broken down into simple sugars, which are then fermented and converted into alcohol.
Why switchgrass? Because ethanol from corn or sugarcane is inefficient. You have to get the energy from a plant that does not require fertilizer or frequent watering. You also want to use the whole plant, rather than just sugars.
Hybrids are great. Not just for gasoline/electric hybrids, but also alcohol/electric engines, natural gas/electric hybrids, hydrogen gas/electric hybrids. An electric hybrid just means you can recapture kinetic energy back into chemical energy (the battery). It’s a great way to recycle energy.
But the world needs switchgrass. Write to your Congressman to stop corn subsidies. We must subsidize switchgrass instead.
One other thing: I own a Toyota Prius. Great vehicle! I get 50 miles per gallon. People, especially women, come up to me and asks me about it. I took a few on a drive. And it is way too cool. There is no “key” — just press a “Power” button (the electronic key can stay in your pocket). And it is very quiet, even when the gas engine is on. And it has POWER. Electric engine has much more torque than gas engines. I drove up the mountains going east out of California. Trucks and SUV’s were struggling and screaming. My Prius just effortlessly went up, averaging 60 miles per hour, still getting about 35 miles per gallon on the way up. Once up the mountain, the engine turns off, and the electric engine charges the battery on the way down. The trucks and SUV on the other side, just get obverheated and smoking brake-pads. It is way too cool.
No doubt. Fuel cells. What other energy technology is applicable from less than a Watt to over a MegaWatt? Fuel cells make fuels last longer – they’re highly efficient. They’re quiet, they run on a diverse range of fuels, they link well with other energy technologies, and are very compact for the power they produce.
What other technology can let you run your laptop for 10+ hours without a recharge? Or instantly convert a biogas stream into electricity, heat and renewable hydrogen fuel? They really are, without doubt, the hottest money-making product of the century, let alone the decade.
I would definetly have to say tractors. The reason is because more crops are being planted and harvest. So with the heop of these tractors it could be much easier to get them shipped. More and more are being made everyday.
General Motors is currently researching a Hydrogen Cell Vechicle. If successful this vehicle would run on H2O. The have a video on the research. I wish i had the cash to buy stock in the company making the motor/cell.
real estate
The inventor of the diesel engine, Otto Diesel, used peanut oil to run his first engine, so the aletnative energy would be biodeiesl, no real change in the car, just change of fuel from fossil to carbon neutral fuel from vegatables.
