If you know some farmers that grow cattle corn there is a pellet stove that takes corn
pros’s clean burning and cheap.
disadvantage is must refill daily and clean ashes daily otherwise you need a backup source if you go away.
corn must be stored properly or will get bugs and rot(ferment)
the only down side is everybody is getting them and by the middle of the winter pellets become scarce
