Where do convenience stores such as 7/11, white hen, walgreens and gas stations get their inventory from?

by admin on May 2, 2010

Also, how do family owned convenience stores get their goods? It seems that they would have to buy less than the brand name stores like 7/11, so i figured they would have an alternative source?

Any knowledge on the topic is appreciated.

I know suppliers such as McClain’s and Core Mark supply many of convenience stores and also some fast food stores.

Most everyone buys from the manufacturer of the product. For example if it is Crest Toothpaste, it is purchased from Proctor & Gamble. But, notice the word “convenience”, which means exactly that, run in and run out, meaning the prices are higher, as opposed to buying from a Walmart, where you will be in line.
