It’s just ridiculous and even if it weren’t a complete lie most of the jobs would be temporary since the primary selling point of alternative energy is that once the front end cost is covered that the energy is basically free with minimal maintenance and no fuel.
I **** when politicians talk about “creating jobs”, especially for temporary things.
Why 4 million? We are quite a distance from green energy but if we don’t start on an alternative to OPEC reliance, we wouldn’t be able to get to the jobs anyway.
Do you where that cigar was? His plan is to create jobs through infrastructure projects, alternative energy, etc. It has nothing to do with pulling a magical ace out of the hole. Instead of asking silly questions, go to Obama’s website and suggest some ways to fix this economic mess we’re in from Bush-beans and his cronies.
Obama has been telling nothing but lies to the American public from day one, and the liberal lemmings blindly believe every word he tells them. His alternative energy plan includes making electric companies pay the government for their carbon emissions. Guess what? This cost will be passed on to consumers. When the price of electricity doubles or triples over the next four years, see how much you think of his lies then.
Clean energy is good in theory, but in reality it is MUCH more expensive to invest in massive mew technology, and the current system is in use because it is cheaper. If “green” technology was cheaper, it would have been used long ago by the electric companies.
